Comment: Bye bye Microsoft Action Pack
Hi @ipzipzap,

Quote from @MysticFoxDE:
Server licences are now only available from the middle level, i.e. Partner Success Core Benefits, but there are now also data centre licences. 😁

😯 ... ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass ich diesen Text nicht wirklich in englisch geschrieben habe. 🤔
Nice, wer ist den das Übersetzungswichtel gewesen?

So to get near the same benefits as in the Action Pack you have to buy the middle level which is much more expensive.

well, for one thing, you have 5 more Office and Windows 11 in the new middle pack than with Action Pack ...

And datacenter licenses were included in the action pack, too, through the included VisualStudio subscriptions. I am running my lab on those DC licenses for over 10 years, so this isn't new.

... and no, you may only use the VisualStudio Subscription licenses for development and/or demo purposes but not for productive use.

So everything is actually good, especially the larger package makes me happy, because you can cover small companies with up to 35 users quite cheaply with MS licenses. 😎

Best Regards
Alex

So I cannot see any big benefits of the new program. It's getting only more expensive.

Comment: Bye bye Microsoft Action Pack
Hi @Dani,

At first, to be honest, this news really spoiled my mood. 😭
But then I took a closer look at what Microsoft had come up with as a successor and my sadness about the soon-to-be-departed ‘Action Pack’ had already disappeared. 🙃

Because with ‘Partner Launch Benefits’ (€322.80 net), ‘Partner Success Core Benefits’ (€837.60 net) or ‘Partner Success Expanded Benefits’ (€3739.20 net), Microsoft has created some very interesting successors.

The ‘Partner Launch Benefits’ tier includes, for example, 5 ‘Microsoft 365 Business Premium’ licences...
https://www.microsoft.com/de-de/microsoft-365/business/microsoft-365-bus ...
(incl. Windows 11 PRO usage rights)...,
and the ‘Partner Success Core Benefits’ level includes 15 of them, and the ‘Partner Success Expanded Benefits’ level includes as many as 35 licences.

Server licences are now only available from the middle level, i.e. Partner Success Core Benefits, but there are now also data centre licences. 😁

In other words, in my opinion there is actually nothing to complain about. On the contrary, I find this promotion very interesting.

Best regards, Alex

But there are also successors. The core package costs twice as much.

Bye bye Microsoft Action Pack
Moin,
Microsoft is evolving the partner benefits offerings to provide partners with the tools and support they need to continue to lead the way in the shifting tech landscape. As a part of this evolution, Microsoft Action Pack and Learning Action Pack purchases and renewals will end on January 21, 2025. You may purchase or renew your Microsoft Action Pack or Learning Action Pack until January 21, 2025, and keep those benefits until they expire one year later.
